Med-Café - Language Training for All Healthcare Professions

The Med-Café is intended for people from all healthcare professions (for example: doctors & dentists, nurses, therapists, etc.) who want to work in the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg region.

Every two weeks, there is a language training. It focuses on:

• Improving German language skills
• Learning medical terminology
• Making contacts with other professionals in the field

The training combines everyday German with medical topics. It is organized by the Welcome Center Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg.
The medical part is conducted by professionals from the DRK State School Baden-Württemberg. It is based on the C1 medical courses and is practice-oriented – for example, scenarios from hospitals and medical practices.

The Med-Café is a collaboration between the Jobcenter Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis, the Welcome Center Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg, and the District Office Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis.

The goal is to provide a platform for exchange, networking, and career entry.
